3rd year Wig Shop

Project 4...
Small wig shop that reflects glamour and fun. Idea is to create a stylish shop with a limited budget. Again, I have taken the bright and white route. Specific areas; such as a wig try on area, selection area and packing area were to be included in this design. I focused on a metallic colour scheme and aimed to create a high-end chic interior.

Final visuals, box panels..mirrors and lighting.
Love the use of a mirror anywhere, so feature wall it is!

Focus on the exterior and light box wig displays :)

3rd year The Barras

Project 3...
Barrowland design response project

Can't say I had ever been to the Barrowlands before this project, but whilst there I have to say.. it is such a unique place. Somewhere that time has quite literally stood still. The idea was to create a response to this location. I was keen to replicate the mixture of resin stars that featured throughout its interior. Each star represented the Barras as a past, present and future- particularly looking at its uses as a Ballroom and music venue.

Past

Present

Future

3rd Year Future Living

Project 2...
Independent living competition, looking at elderly living space based in Cowcaddens. My concepts focus on shared luxury apartments and individual garden plots.

Typical apartment layout and decor. Each apartment will feature a communal kitchen, dining and living area as well as individual spaces. Finishes are chosen by the resident

2yr Newbury Tower, Jewellery Exhibition

Summer 2011 Group Project..

Exhibition proposals and concepts for 3rd & 4th Jewellery and Silversmith students, looking closely at the Newbury Tower.

Visuals of my ideas, wanted to concentrate on the variety of metal and material Silversmith students use. Looked at the possibility of hanging features and lights.

Final Exhibition...

2yr Small Office

Project 6...
Something a bit quirky
Small designers office with freelance space. Wanted to introduce fun and colour into workspace, whilst keeping the interior simplistic. Including designer furniture, graphics and textiles.

Features such as wooden dividers, brick walls and lowered ceilings. Adds a professional feel to the space.

White spacious interior with bold colour accessories, modern fixtures and gloss finishes.

2yr Glass Art Shop

Project 5...
Small specialist glass art shop. For my concept i was keen to keep the interior completely white. The facade of the shelving and free standing displays is black to emphasise the glass products. Primary colours block out squares on the wall, where there are also light back drops. The box theme is continued through the store.

The products and lighting are the focus of the shop, which is inspired by mondrian images.

2yr Route Project

Project 4...
Creating a gallery space between 9 centre columns- the space has to be easily accessed. I was keen to keep as much of the floor space as possible, introduced viewing bays for visitors wanting to explore and added in a feature skylight.

Opted for a concrete interior, creating a modern and simplistic walkway.
